Christine "Chris" Meyers aka The Revenant is a creepypasta character and the antagonist of the creepypasta "Things Unsaid".
History[]
Chris's mother thought Chris was pure evil due to her schizophrenia and because Chris had behavioral problems at school. Because of this when Chris and her sister Catherine were in a car accident their mother used this opportunity to fake Chris's death and keep her locked up in the basement. For the next 7 years Chris was trapped in that basement trying desperately to get her sister to hear her but to no avail. At one point she considered committing suicide but she realized that, being legally dead, she'd be in her words "the most anonymous person in the world". When her sister finally heard Chris and set her free she had gone insane from the isolation and, in revenge for Catherine not hearing her for 7 years, trapped her in the basement after killing their mom. Inspired by the crime novels her mother would let her read in captivity Chris decided to become a serial killer called "The Revenant".
Chris now lives like a wild animal in the streets or forests. Her life consists of three basic stages:
Neutral stage: The longest lasting stage in which she travels a lot, and basically does anything that comes to her mind. Lives day by day without thinking about her actions too much. She often breaks into people's houses when they're not around and lives there until they come back. If owners of the house or their neighbors see her she kills them or run away to look for another shelter (which can be abandoned building, a motel, barn, another house etc.). Chris survives by stealing and hiding.
Breakdown: Sometimes she experiences glimpses of sanity in which she realizes how miserable her life is and what she has done, it causes a breakdown which can last from hours to days depends of how clear the glimpse or flashback is. During that stage Chris mostly stays in one place and completely closes off the world. If she has the possibility she draws or writes to calm down and keep her mind focused on something. Sometimes those breakdowns lead to self-harm or rage attack.
Rage Attack: In that stage her mind completely denies her guilt, and fills up with unrestrained anger. She becomes cynical, violent, and destructive. It mostly lasts no longer than a day and often ends with killing or torturing someone. Victim is usually chosen randomly and killed brutally. After that Chris calms down and comes back to the first stage, because her mind is focused on hiding the body and traces of her presence then finding a shelter and food.

- She's asexual.
- She mostly kills people who she finds a threat to her freedom. It makes her feel powerful and in control.
- Chris is very careless and gets injured easily. She always has cuts and bruises.
- Due to damage to the vocal cords she is incapable of speaking above a whisper. If she tries raising her voice it becomes incomprehensible and hoarse.
- Chris has rage attacks in which she stops thinking and only shows her anger, mainly by aggressive behavior due to her inability to scream.
- She developed a strong attachment to her weapons (a baseball bat and pocket knife).
- Her killing style is this: After choosing the victim she hits them in the back of head to stun them and then takes them to a relatively secluded place where she kills them by hitting them to death or choking if the victim is weaker than her.
If she is killing to stay "invisible" she uses her pocket knife and cut her victim's throat after stunning them.
